Version 2.2.47: podcasts that open faster and no longer disappear

With version 2.2.47, the listener’s phone no longer downloads your RSS feeds. Our server reads them every 15 minutes and prepares the list of shows. The Podcasts tab opens without waiting for the slowest feed, and a show whose feed goes down keeps its episodes.

What your listeners notice

The Podcasts tab no longer waits for your feeds. Before, every phone downloaded every feed: Divergence FM’s is 2 MB and takes about 30 seconds to arrive. Now the app downloads only what has changed since last time.

A show no longer disappears when its feed does not respond. The server keeps the episodes from the last successful read.

Each listener’s favourites and notification choices are kept.

With no network at launch, the app tries again on its own, and the tab offers « Réessayer » (Try again) when no show is on screen.

What changes for the station: nothing to do

You publish your episodes as before, at your podcast host or on your website. Our server rereads your feeds every 15 minutes, and whenever you save your settings in your radio dashboard. It also fills in missing cover art from your WordPress site.

For example, Swing FM has not typed in its episodes by hand since 1 January 2026. The server now reads them from the downloads page of its website.
